A plot of land was chosen for laying a walnut orchard, during the Soviet era it was used for gardening, a vineyard was located, and after its uprooting, grain crops were grown. The site has a slope of 3% southeastern exposure on three sides, separated by natural windbreaks.
10 hectares was purchased from an individual and the title of ownership was registered for OOO Krepky Oreshek. The site is located within the village. Muzychi, Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district, Kiev region. Has a convenient location: 2 asphalt entrances and 1 dirt road. The distance from Kiev is 25 km, and from the exit to the Kiev-Chop highway - 13 km. The garden, taking into account the access roads, has an area of 12 hectares, fenced with a 1.7 m high fence. For the fence, concrete posts were used on which barbed wire was mounted, and video surveillance cameras were installed around the perimeter.
The bookmark project was ordered at the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Used 4 varieties of walnut in the amount of 1100 pcs., Which were purchased in an official nursery in Ukraine, included in the list of producers of planting material. Varieties: Chernivtsky-1, Chernivtsky-2, Klishkivsky and Yarovsky, located in accordance with the developed scheme 10 by 9. The nursery, along with the planting material, provided all the necessary documents, including certificates of varietal conformity and commercial qualities, certifying the quality of the planted trees.
Currently, a kung for protection is located on the territory, a room for storing equipment and security has been built, a place for an artificial reservoir has been arranged, with an approximate volume of water of more than 300 m3, which will be more than enough for irrigating the garden, there is a well to ensure water supply, and supply of electricity to the territory (15 kW).
The garden is taken care of by the specialists of the Yaroslavsad garden center for walnut crops and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Economic efficiency of the walnut plantation: the economic efficiency of the plantation is calculated according to the design yield with the use of intensive cultivation technologies, which are established on the basis of the recommendations of research institutions of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. When calculating the design yields, the project took into account the factors that determine the productivity of plantings, the specific conditions of the site and the biological characteristics of the adopted varieties. The average yield of the established varieties is 3.3 thousand kg / ha (these figures are really adapted to our conditions). Next, we take the percentage of pure walnut, after cleaning it is on average about 40%. 3 tons by 40% is 1.2 tons of pure core yield. 1.2 t was multiplied by the average selling price (in general, it turns out 120 UAH / kg). 1200 * 120 = 144 thousand UAH. Minus 10 thousand UAH for expenses and minus 4-5 thousand UAH of overhead costs, thus 130 thousand UAH / ha are obtained.
We work under exclusive contracts, we cooperate with representatives of other agencies.
